Was having a browse about earlier and came across this watch. I like the size and the fact that it's not as busy as my Hercules (if I ever see it again!). I assume that if I were to buy it, I'd need a winder for whichever model I wasn't wearing, as I'm not selling my Hercules??? Thoughts? |

There have been quite a few discussions on the SOH, it's a very classy piece, which has certainly grown on me - I didn't like the non Breitling style bezel when I first saw it. You don't necessarily need a winder - you can always wind whichever watch you aren't wearing manually! |

She doesn't like the mesh bracelet on it. It was just a thought really, but I am thinking more and more about a second Ling |

I have a SOH Black and have had it on all the bracelets. I didn't like the mesh, sold it. I like the OR clasp not the holes in the strap. I have it on a Black Aligator strap. It is one of my favorite watches to wear. Had the bronze SOH for a while, the Black looks so much better to me. I can send pics later if you would like. |

I agree - the mesh has never yanked my chain at all. But in a way it's quite helpful as it takes away the dilemma of whether to go for the bracelet or strap if you buy a model that come on the mesh! |

Found this one which has a rubber strap on. The original SOH that I posted does come with a rubber strap so would look, I would assume, a bit more like the IWC - which I think I prefer! |

i personally really like the SOH chrono in bronze with the bronze ocean racer strap. it was my first up close at breitling a few weeks ago and it sort of 'jumped out' at me, nice size, etc. the blue is nice too. the black is a real nice classic look, i just like a little color other than black, but thats just me. i like the steel mesh bracelet, but i think i like how the ocean racers match the watch better. |

I love the look of the bronze with bronze ocean racer strap too, I bought the classic black SOHC with a Black calfs leather strap. I also got the Black croc strap with deployment as well, spoiled huh......I love my big beast!!!! pete

Is it just me thinkng that the bronze ocean racer strap looks like something from "Charlie and the chocolate factory"? It is cool though... but it really looks like it was made out of chocolate. |

Add me to the list of mesh haters.. I keep telling myself to think of it as one of those cool chain shark suits, but it just doesnt work. |

You can always keep the OR deployant and then make a leather strap to fit it. |
