You can take it to your authorized Breitling dealer and have them send it back to Breitling to be inspected. |

you could send it back to Breitling SA, but I would be hesitant in the first place. Hope some other members can spot if its real or not. Wait for their take to see if it is real. An Emergency watch is great..it has the emergency transmitter, hopefully this one has an accurate one and not an old transmitter..as I have read in related threads. God forbid something were to happen I hope the Emergency would help save you..maybe just buy a new one..there are 15-20% discounts to be had. just my 2 cents nick ![]() |

The change in satellite monitored frequencies is of no importance to the Emergency - satellites didn't find it in the first place, the distance is too great, but airplanes and similar will (still). |

They are all very bad and could be spotted from a mile even by non-Breitling specialists. So no worries there. If however the watch had it's batteries changed by any one else than Breitling HQ you could be in for some serious and expensive maintenance : they will change the complete transmitter so there is no chance the previous non-original maintenance/battery change has caused any damage to it. Costs... I think close to the asking price of the Ebay watch... I've just seen that someone has made a bid on it but the bid was rejected so if any of you Emergency craving enthousiasts is feeling lucky... ![]() |
