Dear Breitling fans, I am "new" in the world of watches. I had an old analog/quarz clock from the 70th that finally broke down. The last 5-10 years I have stoped by in airports, etc to see the beauty in high end wathes. So now I have started to investigate if Breitling could offer my something. Basic features should be tachymeter and chronograph with split timing posibility. Is there such a watch with preferable 2892/A2 movement? Karbas |

There are two distinct complications - the fly back and the split (rattrapante) function. Flyback has a single chrono seconds hand that doesn't need to be stopped before being reset. The Cosmonaute has a ETA2892-A2 based movement with that complication. The rattrapante is the true split second timer with two chronograph hands one of which stops for a split time and then 'catches up'. There have been a few rattrapantes from Breitling over the years, but none in the current range. |

Dear Breitling fan, Thanks for your replay. If ignore the fly-back possibility and just go with tachymeter and Chronograph with 2892/A2 and no more complications than perhaps just the day-date, then I see no such model. Montbrillant haven't any tachymeter scale what I can see. Units/hour is what I would like to see when using the chronograph. I have to go with Navitimer, but it's bigger and more heavy and got 7750. Am I correct in above assumption? Karbas |

The Montbrillant Olympus also has a ETA 2892-A2 based movement and a tachymeter. |
