I'm sure most got the email this morning about the new ice blue editions and I can honestly say I'd love to see that Chronomat in person to see how the dial looks. I'm not sure I get the platinum plate on the bezel but I'm glad to see it offered on the rubber strap. What does everyone else think?

I think it’s an absolute stunner! When I got the email I was kind of annoyed I recently bought a reverse panda Chronomat now I’ve seen this one!

I like it on the rubber too (in fact I’ve got mine on rubber as I’ve struggled to get a perfect fit with the Rouleaux) but the only thing I’ve noticed is that this new one doesn’t seem to be on a deployant clasp. I always think pin buckles are terrible at that sort of price point. But that’s an easy fix; the rest is absolutely beautiful IMO.

Ah apologies Fred, the pics I’d seen all looked like it was a standard pin buckle.

Damn, I think I may have to consider selling mine for this one now! :?

Kern posted these on Linkedin, figured this thread needs some real life pics.

Holy sh** this is beautiful! Breitling did a phenomenal job. If this was offered in a smaller dial I would be running to the AD

The Ice Blue on a bracelet or better suited to a rubber strap?

Image

I am kind of liking the rubber strap for the contrast and highlighting the definition of the lugs and case.

Has anyone already tried to fit the brushed Pilot bracelet of the previous Chronomat 44? If the end link shape does not prevent a nice fit they might look very good together. Unfortunately it seems that today no Breitling is available on the beautiful Pilot bracelet - except for NOS watches of course.
