Anyone found the best way to clean years of build-up from your rubber straps?
Thx

As I have my black one on a Superocean I tend to wash it on the watch every week. Any mild soap solution or dish wash liquid should be fine if you rinse thoroughly afterwards. If it’s really bad soak it for a while. Don’t use strong chemicals or solvents.

Thanks! I forget to upkeep when it's not in a regular rotation sometimes...

I boil them in water a couple of minutes. Whenever I buy a used watch that has the rubber strap I find this dislodges any grime and what doesn't come off in the process is easily removed afterwards. No leftover DNA here. ;-)
