I had the battery replaced in my Breitling colt chrono a week ago and it’s stopped running again. However, the chrono function seems to work fine. Any idea what the issue could be? |

Hi, welcome to the forum. I guess you didn’t send it to Breitling for the battery change. If you did you have a years warranty. If a particle of grit got into the watch whilst the back was off it could seize the mechanism. Even though it’s a quartz it may need a service/overhaul in addition to a battery change. There are parts that need lubrication or replacement. Oils can run dry or congeal. Sending it off to Breitling will incur a hefty bill but will address any issues your watch has and give you a year's warranty. |
