I know this is a Breitling forum and opinions might be biased but I just need opinions... I have an Omega planet ocean xl 45.5mm 2500 in immaculate condition and some local guy wants to workout a trade. He has a Breitling Exospace B55 full kit and extra oem strap. He wants my watch plus some cash for his but I'm not interested in dishing out since I just paid 1100$ for the overhaul and new crystal. I told him I may consider it if it's a straight up trade. He's thinking about it. In the event he agrees, would you do the trade? B55 is 2016 so I'm guessing out of warranty wich stresses me a bit. I'm a fan of the Ana-Digi look have a couple of aerospace watches in the past. Thus one is bigger and has of course a plethora of features. Anyway.... What would you do? |

Personally I'd steer well clear of the Exospace as a lot of what I've heard about it has been trouble - mainly connectivity issues. |

Did some research. Doesn't seem Breitling rectified the issue. Bummer cause I like the watch. |

Yes, many reports of problems fixed under warranty. A potentially great watch but flawed. |

Seeing its a 2016, I'm hesitant cause it's out of warranty. |

Even though I just bought a Breitling again and really like it, this would be an absolute no go for me...ask him how much he is willing to give you... honestly. |

Personally i dont love watch with "sync" function. You have to charge it every 3 days and BT functions are never used. |

1st timer wrote: The deal would be straight up trade for my PO 2500c xl The fact there's a disparity in nominal value - 2500 PO's can be had from just under £2k GBP to about £3k, and Exospace's start at just over £3k going up to £5k used - it sounds too me like he really wants to just ditch the Exospace off ASAP. That speaks volumes to me. |
