On a aerospace battery operated watch ! Surely that is expensive and if they find anything wrong it's even more .... don't mind on a mechanical watch but quartz
I'm sorry but that is just a joke

Yeah, for a quartz that's ridiculous, surely just battery and seals change, plus a little tidy up of scuffs and scratches.
I'd be interested what the service price will be on my Avenger Chrono then?

For quartz watches, battery swap and ring change is very easy to do. Maybe you can try to do it yourself

Hiya,

Just had my friends B1 & UTC have both batteries changed and a pressure test for £49.99. Took 10 day's.

This company have also replaced a total UTC movement for me for £99.00

They replaced the battery on my Chrono Avenger M1 with test for £40 But that was a couple of years ago.

Give them a call. I hate how Breitling are charging way above the odds for this simple procedure.

(I don't work for them or gain any commissions.)

It’s a real sting, just paid the same for an ‘overhaul’ on my B-1. Granted, it came back looking like new but when the service costs approach 40% of the watch value one has to wonder. The last battery did last 4.5 years but as I’m now a pensioner it’s a cost I can do well without.

Now here is an example of GOOD customer service.........My Fujifilm X70 has lost a baseplate screw so I emailed Fujifilm to ask if I could purchase one. They replied by saying they would be happy to supply one free of charge.........apologising for any inconvenience. I doubt that if I emailed BUK to ask for a bezel screw they would sell me one let alone give me a free one with postage thrown in.

Definitely seems like too much. I sent my Aerospace to Breitling USA for service 6 months ago and paid US$300.
This included a full service (battery, gasket, check of movement), polishing of the bracelet and replacement of the crystal.
I think the polishing and new crystal were about $200, so the service around $100.

Here is the breakdown:
Basic Service: $110
includes: New battery, movement adjustment, new crystal gasket, new back gasket, pressure test and quality control.

Sapphire crystal replacement: $120

Bracelet polish: $70

$300 total plus tax.

So to answer your question, yes, water resistance check is included in the basic service of $110.

I just got a repair estimate from BUSA for $1800 on a 20 year old Aerospace that needed a super quartz movement replacement (dead analog). They wanted $1k just for the module. I've never spent more than $500 for a super quartz module before on other Aerospace's so not sure why the difference in a "full service" cost. They wouldn't elaborate. Then $500 for the bezel and $250 for a dial. Of course I just had them send it back. From their description the case and crystal was beat to death along with the crown but I had previously bought those parts nos myself so I know that wasn't the case. All it needed was a movement. Breitling is trying very hard to run me off I think.

Just got the watch back from BUSA. They actually have Complete Service (CS-E75362) and movement replacement (700.E10351.5) as two separate items. Before I always had movement replacement as part of the Complete Service. Disappointing.

Yeah that's crazy! The watch probably isn't even worth that much. Better to just buy a new one.
