I have never activated the illuminated hands.

How do you turn it on?

The hands are just Superluminova so there's no 'turning them on'. If they aren't glowing at night then I'd suggest they just haven't been exposed to enough light beforehand.

Thanks, this is what I meant.

I thought you could turn it on and did not realize they glow automatically.

I meant the hands being illuminated.

I did not realize they activate automatically.

I thought you could turn them on but you cannot.

luminova is a light reflective product so you have to "charge" your wacth on sun :-)

He might be talking about turning the backlight on to illuminate the hands.

Slow rotation of the crown lights up the two digital displays for around 6
seconds. the light goes out when the alarm, the timer or the minute
repeater strike.
