I am utterly baffled by the disappearance of the B04 movement. After all this time, no B04 GMT models? Am really surprised by this. The B05 chrono/worldtimer movement is also missed.

Am I the only one?

Having had a B04 movement in my Chronomat I can only wonder as well. The B04 is a fine movement with excellent time keeping so I can only assume a new GMT model will come out with it fitted.

So, here is a great example of a Breitling with B04 movement -- the TOC/GMT...

It is a fantastic travel watch, combining a chronograph along with a GMT function. And, because it lacks an external bezel, it can function quite well in a business setting, as well as in a more casual environment.

Then, of course, there is the Chronomat 44 GMT, which, with its external bezel, allows for a 3 time-zone approach -- plus the chronograph, of course! Again, a great travel watch...

In any event, I continue to wonder why there are no such offerings in Breitling's current catalogue, and what that portends for the future.

I'm wondering if Fred's silence on this topic may confirm my worst fears -- I hope not!

I really liked those 47mm Chronomat B04 GMT’s but I’m not sure my 7 1/4” wrist could pull it off, may I ask what wrist size you are as that looked like it fitted you perfectly?

7.5in and it just about worked for me, they are a heavy beast at 250g on the bracelet.

Used to have one. Really liked it and regretted selling. May look for another one as they were built like tanks
