I just flipped through all of those Hod%%^ee magazines and a couple things finally occurred to me.

More and more kind of "subliminal ads" for the watches they now sell as I got later in the editions and lots of "chronograph talk" from vintage, racing, space to movements but NADA Breitling.

Made me wonder what's going on there...I just don't see Breitling in many of their articles, videos and mag.

Why no Breitling Love from :guns: Ho$%^ee? Probably they won't buy AD's...

Thoughts? Maybe I'm over thinking it...

Hmmmm...

From time to time, "H" publishes quick reviews of Breitling offerings -- and, lately, they seem to look favorably on some of the newer models.

That being said, the vast majority of comments left by "H" readers seem to reflect the general tone reserved for Breitling on most general watch forums -- namely, that Breitlings are too big, too blingy, not worth a second thought, etc., etc. Even some of the comments by "H" editors sometimes implicitly reflect some of these views.

Who knows? Perhaps as the Kern era chugs along, and new models are introduced that break with the perceived sterotypes of the Schneider era, things will slowly come around. In the meantime, I limit my own Breitling discussions to dedicated forums like this one, where, although there can be healthy disagreements from time to time, we all seem to share a fundamental love of the brand.

As that website becomes an AD for more and more brands, I can't take any review of a single watch from one of those brands serious.

excellent (for H standards) forum feedback to the AVI
we may like H or not, they are hugely influential - and there were historical reasons for a rather „muted“ relationship, I actually hope this will improve soon.

I'm actually a fan of H -- but am hoping that the general appreciation of Breitling will be on the upswing.

I think it probably helps that you can't actually buy an SS sports Rolex these days - this forces them to think about other brands.

Wait second — are you saying H is focused on Rolex? I hadn’t noticed... :P :D :P
