Good day everyone and thanks for having me in this forum.

I am considering buying a Superocean Heritage B20; I see that close to where I live (Arizona) there is an authorized dealer (Breitling Boutique), but I also see that the same watch can be purchased online from the Breitling website.
Being new to the experience of buying Breitling I could use the forum members advice: is there any advantage on going to the official dealer instead of buying from Breitling website? And again, bear with my lack of experience - yes I can see the point in going to the dealer to 'see and feel' the watch before buying it, but .. did anyone ever got a counterfeit watch from a dealer, or this is a risk only with grey market etc.?

Thanks for your time! Erminio

You'll be able to negotiate a little more with an authorized dealer opposed to dealing with a Breitling boutique or buying online. I know there are some benefits to buying online such as free gifts and the same deals may be worked at the boutique.

Be aware the all Breitling models drop like a rock in value the minute you step out of the AD or Boutique. I would go to an AD if you want new and ask for 25% off minimum. Or even better buy pre-owned. Deals can be had on pre owned that make it so you do not have such a big hit if you ever want to sell.
