Post subject: | getting a BREITLING! |
Hey Everyone, First time poster, but long-time lurker! I am in the process of getting my first Breitling in the next few weeks and I'm down to two pieces: - Bentley 6.75 - Bentley Motor Not quite sure which way I'm going, but I really like the 6.75. It has a great bulky feeling to it. The only thing is that my wrist is a bit smaller and it might look too bad. Anyone know the difference in the MMs between the two? Also, I think the 6.75 sits higher...is that correct? Thanks! |

I love the 6.75's date display. They retail for the same price unless you opt for the Motors T. |

To be honest I don't know for sure. I'm sure someone with both can chime in here. The Breitling Sales Handbook doesn't list it for B4B models. |

I don't have a Motors to compare with, but if I remember correctly the 6.75 sits one or two mm higher due to the shape of the caseback. However, the 6.75 is a great watch - I can strongly recommend it! ![]() |

AS cheesy as it sounds, it all depends on how it sits on your wrist. Try them and one will call to you! ![]() |

I was in the same situation as you a few months back and i ended up with the motors T. Yes the 6.75 sits a little higher on the wrist but you really don't notice it at all. I had them both on my wrist at the same time and i was comfortable with both of them and my wrist is only 6.75. Here are a few pics for reference. ![]() ![]() No one says nothing about the bezel.....lol ![]() |

I've got both and yes the 6.75 case is very slightly thicker - more than likely to accomodate the big date complication as it's a module bolted onto the base movement. Additionally the caseback on the 6.75 is fractionally thicker too with the wheel design. To be honest you don't really notice the difference. In fact it took me a few hours of ownership to notice the thickness in cases. |

Yea, I'm probably going to have to go back into the store and try them on again and see which feels better. I think some folks mentioned to leave it on for a few minutes and then you'll get a better feel for it. Shades - Sweet looking watch, thanks for the pics!! |

Post subject: | 6.75 |
I just got the 6.75 on December 27th and I have worn it about 3-4 times since. Here are a few reasons why I went with the 6.75 over the Motors because those are the two I was deciding between. 1. The MAIN REASON is the dial on the 6.75 is less busy which in my opinion goes with the look of the watch. 2. I did not like the position of the date on the Motors ( I am left handed so i do wear my watch on the right hand, but I still would not like it even if i wore it on my left wrist) 3. As far as the caseback goes, the wheel on the 6.75 is not uncomfortable at all. Did it make a decision for me on which watch to get? No! I like the wheel design a lot but the caseback on the motors is very classy and shows the history of Bentley which in my opinion what Bentley is about CLASS! |
