I''m considering buying this watch. It is 9 years old and described as in mint condition. I'm just after some advice on what price I should be looking to pay? There appears to be few, if any actually, of this model available to buy so difficult to benchmark the asking price. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Get it you won't be disappointed...I've seen them from $4600 to $7600 so your right about price. Pay somewhere in the middle based on age, condition, box and papers etc (important for this LE watch I'd think).
Love mine...

This YouTube video will make you pull the trigger! :poke: :lingsrock:

this one looks pretty new to me, 4 grands is a reasonable price, but seems it's not the limited edition you are looking for

I have owned that exact model more than once. It’s a beautiful watch and worth the money. Since these were made between 2009-2011, you have to figure in $850-900 servicing cost on top of the price you are paying even if it doesn’t need servicing right away. As far as how much to pay, I would say around $5k is good.

That’s definitely a good deal but be very careful with Japanese sellers. They love to polish everything in sight. Some people don’t care about that but I personally don’t like to buy polished watches as they remove some of the metal away. Still a good deal if you don’t care but I would personally go with the limited edition above as it’s a lot more comfortable to wear than the model in the auction. It’s because of the very wide flat case back compared with the smaller pointed case back of the non limited edition. It distributes the weight a lot better in the wrist. I had both models and that was my experience.

I agree with Sniper and those who have echoed that sentiment. I too own the Navi 01 LE and love it. I paid $6300 for mine, which had full box and papers, in 2014. I would be willing to pay about the same now (maybe haggle for a bit less because at this point it's due for a service) because I truly love the watch and that exact limited edition model doesn't come up that often. I am still smitten by this piece being the flagship of the brand, an icon in the watch world at large, and the first of its model to have Breitling's first in-house movement. I also find that the watch looks great on the bracelet AND straps; I have the bracelet and 5 straps for it. I can't think of a more versatile watch in terms of aesthetic appeal across numerous types of "shoes" for the watch.
