I have this watch with the tuxedo dial that I purchased last year.

It has become my favorite watch.

I really wanted the blue dial but could not find one that was affordable on the used market that came with box and papers.

I do like the black tuxedo dial a lot though.

My watch says "Chronometre Aerospace" on it but yours says "Chronometre Certifie".

What is the difference between both of those?

Thanks

Essentially age is the only difference. Dial markings have varied slightly over the years.

According to this article, they change the text on dial in 2007. Yours is gorgeous, btw. Wear it in good health.

How do you deal with the scratches? The titanium seems to be very prone to scratching. Thanks.

I've had a lot of Aerospace's over the years and accumulated some in my junk drawer because of bad movements. I put this one together from parts. I had a bad display on this Aerospace's Repetition Minutes movement and changed the display with a good one from an earlier 1st generation movement that had a bad analog portion (hands didn't move). Had no idea if it would work until I tried it. This also required a dial swap to match the size of the earlier lower display but had some dials too. The final result is a Repetition Minutes movement, with the repetition Minutes functions, in a Repetition Minutes Aerospace with an earlier Aerospace dial. Made a functional watch again.

I am usually very careful while wearing watches , however I have few tiny scuffs where the fold over clasp rubs in the bracelet once opened. Are the carbon pens any good? Thanks.
