When checking your watch for accuracy against the atomic clock, is it normal for the accuracy to fluctuate? One days it's running -2secs and the other +1. |

Without knowing the model of the watch you are talking about I would say that it is 99.9% expected behaviour. For a COSH certified automatic the spec is -4 +6 seconds per day and it can go either way on a daily basis as that timing depends on a number of variables like temp, orientation wind level etc.Sent from my SM-N960F using Tapatalk |

Sorry about that. The model I'm referring to is the hercules which is cosc. |

no matter what the model is, these fluctuations are typical for mechanical watches as @Arcam explained; -2 to +1 is exceptionally accurate, even for a Chronometer ![]() |

I'd say you're doing rather well for a watch as old as the Herc and only a -2/+1 variation. ![]() |

Good to know. The watch was serviced about a year ago. Has been serviced every 2 years by previous owner. |
