yes, that’s actually the only visible difference, distance, angle and necessary activation “travel” height of the pushers are different on the B09 (actually a similar difference to the Valjoux72 and the Venus 178 on the vintage pieces).

must say the feedback we are getting from new owners of the Re-Edition is really quite good ;)

So what's the situation with availability of this piece? I heard they were sold out, but since they seemed to be available on Breitling's website, I just called them and they said that indeed, they have a few available for sale.

I think your comment sums it up. As at a few weeks back, they were essentially sold out at ADs, but as I understand it, (and please correct if I'm wrong Fred) Breitling retained a few to sell directly via their website.

There is one for sale in my local dealer, Market Cross Jewellers in Middlesbrough (I happened to pass the shop today). So if you are after this particular model you can get it from there.
When I saw it for the first time I thought it was a pre-owned original; it certainly looks fantastic.
For me personally I find it way overpriced, however that is not just this particular watch, it is across the board but that is of course another argument :)

Just picked one up at my local Breitling boutique. I went in to drop my Aerospace for service, and they had one in the vault which was available. In fact they have a rose gold version as well.
Here they are. I asked them to put the steel on a brown strap to see how it would look. They ended up giving me the the brown strap as well as the black.

Yes, it gives it an even more vintage look.

I love how this watch looks in the brown strap and I know there’s still one sitting at Govberg

Wow, Fred — that looks SO much better on the brown strap. It complements the colors on the dial perfectly. As far as I’m concerned, that’s the only way to go!

I am thinking of picking one of these re-issues up and there happens to be one in an A.D. near where I live. Does the movement hack? I am guessing it does since it's based on the Calibre B01.
