I am not talking about diving, but is this watch safe to wear while swimming in the ocean or even a pool or is it better just not to wear it?

I've owned two of them. Wore them in the pool, and in waterparks chasing grandkids down the slides and in wave pools. Never a problem.

By the law of averages you're likely to be fine but unless a watch has a screw-down crown I'm just too nervous myself.

I wouldn’t risk one in the water.
There’s plenty of Breitlings better suited to that environment
