Looks like this watch is now public knowledge and it’s a limited edition of 1,000. This watch was briefly posted on Breitling’s website the day of the Basel announcements and then taken down shortly after. I had already taken a screenshot since I was curious if you could just buy the strap since I thought it would look good on my Superocean. ![]() This was posted on Kern’s LinkedIn page: “Proud to announce the launch of the new Super Ocean Heritage „Ocean Conservancy“ Edition. Breitling is proud to support this foundation work to fight plastic in the Oceans. In Bali our Surfers Squad participated in a Beach Cleaning day to educate and raise awareness in this vital issue. Happy to also partner with Kelly Slater and his sustainable leisure wear company OUTERKNOWN. We are using their recycled nylon (called ECONYL) made out of lost finishing nets for this nato strap. Really happy about all these initiatives and to contribute a little bit to make our world a better place.” |

Kern wrote me back on LinkedIn and said the strap isn’t for sale by itself but they’ll have a full line of nato straps available this autumn made of the same ECONYL material. I love the fact I can send him a message and actually get a reply. I don’t think I can say I’d have the same luck with any other brand. |

Love that direct interaction with the consumers. That's rare for sure! Sent from my LM-G710 using Tapatalk |

That strap is great. I’m interested in seeing how they price those Natos. |
