it is truly nice.

will report a bit more early next week and check re Justin’s SOHC question, rather exhausting days here and no time for anything but interviews, workshops and summit presentations.

I see there is now a black eye grey Navitimer 8 available. This dial looks pretty nice. Sorry for only the link.

I didn’t even realize the name change. The gold B logo on that dial really pops. Are they changing the entire series to the Avaitor series or leaving it as the Navitimer 8?

Georges listens and adapts directions - see wings on sports and professional

generally speaking, Breitling was “the buzz of Baselworld” to quote one of the many reactions - and have to (slightly blushing here) add that the Navitimer 806 Re-Edition was called “Best of Show” by many

The Navi 806 is being widely lauded, as far as I can tell -- and, deservedly so. Congrats, Fred!

At a certain point, it may make sense to re-brand the line "Aviator 8", generally.

I must admit that new winds from Breitling are very exciting. It seems that Mr Kern is finding a way to win back Breitling fans that were turning their backs on the brand and also win new ones.

Being an independent brand (which is a big plus for me) it seems that changes are happening fast and with passion.

Watchfred thank you for bringing back the 806. I doubt that it will come to my hand (but who knows what future brings :D ) but it is already all over my desktop. Truly a work of art and passion.

I'm not surprised in the slightest. :D Some fabulous stuff being produced by Breitling at the moment, and especially the rather fantastic 806 re-edition. Many congrats Fred - you deserve the plaudits for bringing this fantastic piece (back) to life.

I actually put my name down for the new 806 at my AD today.

Congrats in advance Driver! I just can't seem to part with anything right now which is what is holding me back from this. I'm also wondering what else will be coming out this year. My only Basel acquisition may be the Nato strap, if it's ever available.

some Basel 2019 - very little really; absurd how you can spend 5 days there and find no time to take pics of the novelties, apologize.

stand was perfectly positioned & "ruled" the show, as the Omega stand that had hidden it for the last years was gone, sad this most probably was the last year for Breitling in Basel, but they went with a bang.
