Post subject:  breitling bentley 6.75?????

hello guys i asked a question a day ago about the sa and chrono evo but i recently fell in love with the breitling bentley 6.75 i know theyre more expensive but how much do you think i could get it with a discount? the bentley line just looks really luxurious and different (all breitlings do) but my dad has a chrono evo,my bro has a super avenger and i want to get something a little different, and also how thick is the bentley 6.75 compared to chrono evo? any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Discount will be the same kind of % as any other model - and that will vary depending on where you are in the world - there's an active discussion right now on discounts (and many previous).

The 6.75 is actually slightly thinner than the Chronomat, but not significant - 1.5mm, and with the larger size (almost 5mm) you won't notice a significant difference.

It will certainly wear differently than the Evo or the SA. As your dad and brother have those, you have no doubt tried them on a time or two ;)

I recommend you stop by an AD and throw on a 6.75 and see how it suits you.

As Roffensian said the discount percentage will be same though the MSRP is certainly higher.

Base MSRP's are (all on steel)
SA $4550
Evo $5840 unless you want a two tone or MOP or diamonds etc.
6.75 $8835

You might create a little bit of sibling rivalry if you choose the Bentley. :plot: Good luck with your search, I'm betting you will find yourself a good deal.

Seems like the guys answered all your questions, Nothing more for me to add but to encourage you to get the 6.75. it is by far my favorite Breitling, and just might be the most beutifull watch in my eyes. The dial is balanced perfectely, not as busy as the Motors or too plain, the fit and finish is much, much better than on the SA.

Do you find it to feel as "Durable"? I am thinking of an everyday piece that will see some abuse.

Kind of depends what you get up to everyday, Doc!

For me I find all of my watches more than durable enough at work because I work in an office in finance, which is not renouned as being a hot-bed of physicality! At the gym I don't wear a watch at all, neither do I if I'm Mountain-biking, or playing any other kind of sport. I don't wear a watch in bed, and I sure as hell don't wear one if I'm doing some DIY or something!

I'll obviously wear a watch if out and about in town, or if I'm having a few beers but fortunately I seem to have grown out of falling over after a couple drinks (touch wood!), so they all appear plenty durable for that too!

About the only time I don't wear my SA is on the motorcycle. Oh and I take it off while playing the drums (on RB 2) :)
