So, a person near me has a Colt Skyracer for sale, that’s brand new, unworn with all paperwork and has the electronic warranty card. I found out that the person received it as an award from his company. They started out at $2000. I have offered them $1,000. They countered at $1700 and then came down to $1500. Worth it?

I really like mine. For $1500, if you need an everyday watch or even a beater, it's not a bad deal. It's very comfortable and you won't even notice you're wearing a watch most of the time. My only complaint is that sometimes the grooves in the strap move out of the area near the lugs that they fit in and the strap sticks out a bit. It's minor, but can get annoying at time. I'm thinking of buying a 21mm nato for mine but just haven't gotten around to it yet.

One sold on Monday on eBay for $1250 USD + free shipping. It appears to be in excellent/like new condition. There is another for sale on eBay as well and that auction ends in two days. (I'm not watching them or anything... )

With the Breitlight case, there shouldn't be any wear. The only issue would be the strap. I don't know what a replacement strap would cost, but maybe Scot can chime in since I think his wife has both the black and green strap for hers.

I picked up my extra straps at the NYC Boutique for $75 each. That was for the strap only, the tang buckle was not included in the price. If anyone has the watch and is contemplating sourcing another strap I would recommend that you move swiftly. Georges has no love for the model and it has been discontinued. Although the quartz movement would be supported by service I don't know how many extra straps they have due to the unique design for the lugs!
