I have a Chronomat 44 with polished bezel and thinking about brushing it. Have any of you guys done that?

Another solution would be to buy a brushed bezel from the factory, then I can always change back. But that would be a little more pricey,

Your thoughts and pics are welcome.

I like the brushed look and I would have it on my 47mm Chronomat if I was brave enough

I had a Chronomat 44 with a brushed bezel and I truly liked the look. I have brushed a polished Blackbird and then returned it to polished with what I consider a complete success. The brushed bezel for your 44 from Breitling will have to be bought through an AD as Breitling will no longer sell to repair tech's. Here are three photo's of my Blackbird that I worked on.

and back again.

I would contact your AD and see what they would do for you as far as getting a brushed piece.
Good luck, Frank.

I personally do not like modifying my watch. On one hand I like to retain 100% of the original look that I bought from the brand without destroying whatever details or intentions they might have when designing the piece. On the other hand I avoid polishing the watch too often and moreover on my own because polishing involves taking very little metal away everytime and doing it too often or if you are not skillful enough can destroy the shape of yr watch overtime. If you really want to modify yr watch then perharps buying a brushed bezel to inter change might be a better idea.

Thank you for the input.

A brushed bezel from AD without the riders is about 550 EUR incl work, brushing the existing on is around 100 EUR.

In most lightning scenarios I think it looks good with the polished finish, only outside in direct sunlight that bothers me so I think I will wait it out and see. Or just stay indoors:)

The mix brushed bezel and polished case really stand out and is a perfect mix.
Both my chronomat have them, like chronomat01le mentioned I prefer to have the watch 100% factory and would search for a solution for a factory brushed bezel (for easy revert).
I choose specifically the Chronomat 44 GMT (which was my first luxury automatic watch) because of the brushed bezel (GMT function), the look was better imho.
