Now that I have mine, I am interested in some history. Where is a good place to start? |

Where is a good place to start? I'd recommend grabbing yourself a copy of the 09 Chronolog from your AD. It's the 125th Anniversary this year, and the Chronolog has quite a bit of interesting information for a newcomer to the brand. |

Post subject: | Am I being a little thick??? |
I have always had an intrest in Breitling watches probably for more years han I remember. So looking into the history and taking the advice on this forum whilst out doing the last of my Christmas shopping I picked up a Chronolog and price list. On page 39 the title reads " A World Apart" you read all the blurb and get to the last few words on this page and this is where the thickness comes in........ "......that has forged its success for five quarters of a century" how the hell do they get five quarters of a century????? I know that they have been going 125 years and and 5 X 25 = 125 but to state five quarters of something is just plain daft.... WD |
