I am going to buy a new seawolf steel
But the idea of having an expensive watch with the crown tube being integral to the middle case confuses me .
I know that i have to be careful while using the screw crown of any watch But after say 15 years of continuous usage and when i send the watch for complete overhaul, the threads of the tube will have been worn out from the screwing and unscrewing throughout the 15-20 years and should be replaced , just as rolex do with the complete overhaul of its watches , rolex changes the crown tube of my fathers 20 yrs old seadweller while he was making a complete service to the watch ,although he had not have any complaints with the crown tube or the crown ,but rolex told him that it is a basic routine at the overall is to change the tube and the crown with a new one , so what will be the scenario with the seawolf after a lifetime time of 20 years ?
Does breitling make the tube integral to the case to reduce the cost of manufacturing?

This isn't a direct answer to your question, but Breitling recommends a full service (complete overhaul) every 5 years or so, not 20. If there is any issue it will be fixed by Breitling Service.

Does any mechanical timepiece really have a 20 year service interval?
