Post subject:  My VERY first Breitling !
Hello everyone !

I've already posted my introduction and this is my first thread regarding my recent acquisition and first Breitling watch !
I'm a 38 years old Pilot from São Paulo, Brazil and a watch lover since I was quite young.
Besides being a pilot, Breitling until now, never had a strong appeal to me (Except a bit for the Navitimer, which I've been always intrigued about but not in a point to buy one). I've been a Rolex unconditional lover and owner for a while ! I'm also a bit active on "The Rolex Forum" and also posted there about my latest purchase !

Most watch lovers and including Rolex lovers probably knows already about the lack of available models on the market right now. My main goal was to get my second GMT Master II SS (Pepsi) recently announced on Basel 2018. Two weeks ago, the insane little chance in getting one in a near future, made me by chance, walk into a Breitling boutique here in my city and take a better look, know more about the brand, history, etc.

After really thinking a lot, last Tuesday I bought my first Breitling, a Navitimer 01 Pan American Bronze Limited Edition 43mm (1000 Pieces) ! It would come originally with Brown Croc Leather Strap but since I'm a bracelet guy, I bought it with the amazing Breitling SS Bracelet !
I'm in love with it and couldn't be more happy ! It is indeed different from what I've been used to when it comes to more "low profile" watches but nevertheless, I'm really happy and proud of it ! 8) 8) 8) :boingb: :cigar2: :cigar2: :cigar2:

I'm now definitely into Breitling and hopefully will get my second model ASAP ! I really like the Super Ocean Heritage and Transocean as well !!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your first Breitling. The Panamerican LE is lovely and quite fitting for a pilot.

The comment below should be shouted out to Rolex worldwide. It is clear their supply strategy is causing angst even amongst previously loyal customers, forcing them to look elsewhere. Rolex loss = Breitling gain (in this case).

Exactly !

This frustration is among all members from TRF ! It is ridiculous !
Some people claim that Rolex actually cannot follow the demand for their products. Although it's hard to believe, it makes a bit of sense to me because Rolex watches are really an object of wish for most people indeed.

However, it was this "shortage" that brought me to Breitling and I'm very glad with it ! Will I stop buying and love Rolex ? NO !
But from now and on, I will love Rolex and Breitling ! LOL

Welcome to Breitling. The panamerican LE Navi is a nice one. Almost bought one myself a few years back but opted for a mercury silver LE Navi. Congrats on the purchase and thanks for sharing.

Congratulations on the perfect first Breitling and welcome. I have had my Nav for about ten years now and I still enjoy wearing it the same as the first day I bought it.
