If the words of the new CEO are to come true, we are likely to see a few nice re-editions of some vintage watches from Breitling in the next few years. As a collector of re-editions (the more accurate the better), I'm certainly looking forward to that. Anyway, some have said that the one on the right in the first picture is the nicest re-edition of the original all-black dial Navitimer 806, and I would certainly agree. However, in my opinion, the one on the left is the closest we have of a modern interpretation of the original Chronomat, even though it is labelled as a Montbrillant. That said, I can’t help but wonder how much nicer they would have looked if the bezels had been swapped.

Anyway, what are you hoping for from the new and improved Breitling?

A couple of my favorite Breitlings, been after the 1903 on and off for a few years, never quite found 'the one' though. Do you know what the old Navitimer Mechanique goes for (price) these days?

Still hoping for a classic Navitimer (B01 or B13) with lumed arabics (43mm) :) .

If we’re talking what would you like to see.... a Ti B-1 reissue would be a slam dunk. They have the case technology, the B78 movement, easy peasy. I really like the B78 movement, easy controls, all the functions I want, and not a bunch I don’t.

Been one floating around on eBay USA for a bit with an asking price of US$5750, but unfortunately missing the inclusions and papers. Frankly, as nice as the watch is, I wouldn’t buy one if it was missing that cute little wooden watch stand - that’s part of the charm.

What would make 'the one'?

Unfortunately, as much as I love the watch, my experience with Breitling regarding my B-1 has put me off high-end Quartz watches forever. Titanium would be good though, as the watch is pretty heavy on the bracelet.
