Just noticed this when admiring my airwolf LE with my loupe. Noticed some light marks that I hadn't noticed before on the edge of the minute hand. Then the anchor-B end of the second hand went by and the scrape marks lined up exactly. I guess next time it's serviced I'll let BUSA know, but it was keeping virtually perfect time in the 6 weeks I had it and I wasn't planning to send it in for a while. This is with my phone cam and my amazon CCC 30x-60x loupe. The scratches are definitely on the hand not the crystal. BTW There's lots of inclusions in my crystals too. Not scratches but it's like looking at a diamond of good but not perfect clarity rating. Looks perfect without magnification. Perhaps that's why BUSA tries to upsell on new sapphire crystals when you send it in for service? That's what happened to me on a previous watch and whenever people post pics showing their recent service receipt, it always seems to show the crystal replacement was declined. |

The digital time is spot on. Maybe a half second off after 2 months of ownership. Terrific. Weird thing is if I leave the watch face down (don't worry, on a soft surface) the second hand needs to re recalibrated as it loses 15 or so seconds relative to the digital time. Wearing the watch or leaving it face side up, no issue. |

Added a set of new hands at BUSA service which was an additional cost to a complete overhaul. |
