I have seen two different numbers as far as how many jewled movement this is. It is used it the Chronomatic 49. The web site says 38 and the AD's shop book says 40. I pointed this out to the AD and she was as suprised as I was. Anyone else notice this? Or am I reading something wrong?

I was sure it's a 38 jewel movement....... but happy to be corrected if I'm wrong.

I thought it was 38 too. Because it's based on the 2892 it's a modular movement so maybe one module got updated with two more jewels creating a 40 jewel version - pure speculation though.

Ok, since the new website there is no longer a referance to 40 jewels. I checked the AD's book and it matches the web site info.
