Post subject:  OR Strap

I have a quick question. If I have a blue faced Super Avenger, what color OR strap should I buy? If anyone has any pictures, it would be great to see them.

Thanks.

I have a white dial SA and had it on a red OR strap. I just switched it over to a black OR strap and it looks really good. For a blue dial, I would go for either a blue or maybe even a black OR strap. I really like the way the OR fits the watch, and probably wont go back to bracelet any time soon although my black dial SA is on a bracelet. 8)

I was at the AD the other day and he had a blue dial on a blue OR and it looked SHARP!!! :wowzers  I normally do not care for colored dials (I know a lot do, I am just a bit of a fashion idiot and would never know how to match a non- black or white) but this looked phenomenal. If I had a blue dial I would absolutely go that way! I am sure on of the members has that combo for pics. Give it a couple of days. :D

It all comes down to personal preference of course, but I'd say the main opinion will probably be that with a blue dial the blue OR (and maybe also the black OR will suit you). With the blue OR, you'll never be wrong with the blue dial.

But also, if you manage the rest of your outfit, you can probably also get away with a brown OR to the blue dial.

...can not go wrong with the blue OR in this case...

question about the OR strap... 1st how much does it retail for, and second the clasp on the strap, is that a standard deployment clasp that you must buy seperately?

It is my understand that the deployment buckle comes with the OR strap. I think it is around $450.

The deployant does come with the OR rubber but you can also buy the rubber separately for around $65. This gives you the option of switching rubbers onto the deployant and giving your watch a different look. Although I have 2 deployant buckles. 8)

As stated, but I would add that $450 is way too much to pay - that's list, not street.

General style convention says blue, gray, or brown. Blue and black generally aren't matched (blue suit black shoes for example--unless you're Air Force). Although, I suppose given B'ling's aeronautical ties, that combo could work...

I think with the blue dial you can only go with the blue strap.
