Post subject: | Airwolf countdown |
Hi everybody! I posted this question in "Alien13"'s review, with no luck. So I try here instead. My query is whether the countdown-timer, on the Airwolf, stops at zero after countdown (like on my Aerospace) or if it reverts to the time that you had set for the countdown. The reason I am asking is because I very often have use of repeated countdowns, but dont have time to go through the process of turning the crown to set the time for every new countdown. Hope that somebody have the answer to my question. //Mattias |

I would say the answer is YES - if the Cal 78 is similar to the set up on the 68 in my B-1 it will revert to the original setting. Any one with a Cal 78 able to confirm this? Oh - and ![]() |

definitely no.. The countdown when it gets to zero alarms then stays on zero. I personally would find it more annoying if it reset to the original time. Remember the Airwolf can countdown from 99 days with seconds! Hope this helps. |

i just did a test run on my airwolf. it counts down to zero and the alarm sounds, like any good timer should. once the alarm is stopped the timer will remain at zero until you put the reset button (bottom button) then it will return to the previously entered count down time. hope that helps, dan |

Thanks for your inputs. And thank you "Bloke" for the welcome sign ![]() To me it would be very useful to start a new countdown without to much hassle. For instance when running on intervals. Or in my daily work (navigator on a navy ship). Anyway, thanks for your inputs. We'll see what Santa has in store for me ![]() //Mattias |
