Post subject:  A question from a new SOH 46 owner

Hi you guys.

So I finally got my Superocean Heritage 46, black dial, SS bracelet, just like I wanted. Love the watch, look and wears great (have to get used to the weight though, my SA is a lot heavier :) ).

I'll try to post some pics ASAP, in the meantime, there's something that's eating me and I'm hoping you guys can put me at ease:

When I wind the watch and get past the 35-40 count, when it should be on full reserve, there's no clicking sound that my SA makes, when that clutch steps in to prevent overwinding. Is it possible that the 7750 in my SA just has a louder clutch that I can hear and the one in the 2824 is quiet?

Thanks for your help.

Take care,

David.

Yeah, that's all it is - we all know about the 7750 being a loud movement, the ETA base for the 46 is a quieter movement.

Roff, I'm always amazed about your wealth of knowledge on Breitlings.

Judging by the post total, I'm not sure that I'm going to be King of Ling much longer

Whenever you need completely useless knowledge I'm happy to oblige - now if only I could remember important things, like my wife's birthday, our wedding anniversary (both the same day I think) it might help

Simple, if you are like me, your wife's birthday is your bank PIN, and your anniversary is the password to your email. Impossible to forget! :P :D

Congratulations on the new watch! It really is a great piece! I'll look forward to swing by the gallery and see it.
