Hi there, I'm looking to purchase a chronomat 41 airborne but I was wondering on the thickness of the case. Based on chrono24, the thickness is about 15.5mm. But after doing more research I found that the chronomat 44 has the same thickness... Does this mean that only the diameter is different and the thickness is the same..? That would be a weird design flaw on the chronomats.. Could anyone advise? Thanks! |

However, both sizes have the same movement, so I wouldn't be surprise they were the same thickness despite their width difference. More often than not, the extra width in wide watches is filled with air, not extra movement. |

Breitling specs. the Chronomat 41 Airborne at 15.4mm and the Chronomat 44 at 16.95mm. The 41 does feel a little chunky to me and that has kept me from purchasing one, 13mm would be more ideal. |
