Post subject:  Shopping for B50 Night Mission

I am also looking into a B50 Night Mission. I am seeing online pricing from Authentic Watches and Watchfinder in the ballpark of $5600. However the best my local AD will do is $6600. What gives here? What could I lose by going online compared to AD? If it's new, wouldn't Breitling manufacturer warranty still be good? Anybody ever bought a new Breitling from non-AD? What prices have y'all paid?

Currently own B01 (IB011012/B957)

Thnx!

Typically the online stuff is grey market. Breitling warranty is only honored if you buy from an AD. Best I could do on my B-50 in titanium is 5K from an AD. Worth the extra money for the warranty.

It is comes with the electronic warranty card and all the numbers match does it matter where is came from?

It could have been purchased 2nd hand and Breitling would still honor the warranty.

Check the seller's terms and conditions, some specify that the watch will come with the manufacturer's guarantee whilst some will offer their own in house warranty which is obviously the less desirable option.

If it is grey market it generally doesn't have the electronic warranty.

The warranty follows the owner as long as they have the warranty card as far as I know. I think an AD will also register the SN of the watch to Breitling so they have a record of it being sold by an AD.

Correct

Depends on market and registration is generally with distributor (unless an Emergency / Emergency Mission / Emergency II)

Agreed. I actually spoke with folks selling the watch listed above about 2 weeks ago. It's production date had me concerned about all of that. Especially not knowing if it had been serviced or not. If I remember correctly it was a 2014 or 2015 model? Also, couldn't justify that price for a 2-3 yr old watch.

If it can help, mine has been built in June 2015 and absolutely no issues
