According to the Breitling chronologs the last year of the SA was 2013 which had the square tipped chrono sec. hand. The 2014 chronolog shows the new SA II with arrow/diamond tipped hand.

The dials are also different with the SA polished double baton hour indices, SA II having the single lumed baton hour markers. In the arabic dials the font is different, SA has the more rounded numbers (with small circular lume dots) and SA II having the more boxy/square arabics.

I'm sure sellers often will mix them up.

Thanks a lot for the response. I think you are right that it is not malicious but it is certainly aggravating. Interesting to hear about the Arabic numeral changes. I had both versions of the SA Arabic dial (when they scalloped the 8 and 10 in different manners - I can't remember now if it were the older or the newer one with the deeper cuts to the numbers). This is really great and rare information and I appreciate it.
