This looks very promising. I too am excited to see them in real life. |

Didn't realize that the navy blue dial was actually mother of pearl. Looking forward to seeing this one. As for the second one -- gotta say, I'm not a fan. I'm heading to Vegas tomorrow -- I'll definitely stop by the Breitling Boutique to see what I can learn about any new offerings. |

The first one is nice the second it too much like a square peg in a round hole for me. Sent from my SM-N910F using Tapatalk |

I'm not totally sold on either to be honest. I've never overly liked MOP as I think it's a bit too bling. The carbon dial is a nice departure, but I agree with Arcam that the square subdials don't quite work for me on the Chronomat. I think they're great on 70's style cushion-case watches, but here the round ones work better IMO. I was kind of hoping that Baselworld was going to see the Airborne bezel (hopefully minus the rubber inserts) rolled out as a Chronomat option.....but sadly not. |

Breitling makes stunningly beautiful dials. That said, square subdials dont fit the Breitling design. |

Not a fan of MOP or carbon dials, but I do like the square subs on the carbon model - something different. |

Like the first one. 2nd one looks aesthetically ok but I am not really into square subdials because I don't think it makes a lot of sense functionally speaking. |

I noticed both of these come on crocodile rubber straps, has anyone seen these straps in person before? |

Square subdials are not doing It for me. The blue MOP should look good! Mat |

Crocodile rubber straps? Sounds interesting, can't wait to see them. |

I think the square sub dials look better in the flesh, I owned a black steel version and I quite liked it. I wouldn't mind checking out any of these models up close. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To my eye, it was simply a beautiful blue dial. Other tidbits from my Boutique visit... Apparently, Breitling will be offering the 12-hour Avenger Hurricane in a 45mm version, both black and yellow dials. Glad to see a more sensible size on these. I had a chance to see the Hurricane for the first time, and, I must say the Breitlight is certainly an interesting development. Hard to really describe the feel of it. It is eerily light on the wrist -- feels like nothing is there. That being said, I also had the impression that the case could take a real beating and survive none the worse for wear. Saw the new SOH2 chronograph. Ceramic bezel is nice, but I wasn't bowled over. It's certainly a beautiful watch, to be sure. That being said, the blue color seems just a tad more understated than on the current SOH. Also got to see the recently issued brown-eyed black 46mm Navi. As I had suspected, this one actually looks pretty darn nice live and in person. It's a unique combo, and, for me, it works. The Boutique hadn't yet received the new green MOP B-50 yet -- though the rendering looked interesting (it's on the Breitling website). Last, but certainly not least -- saw the new Navi Rattrapante. This is certainly a great addition to the Navi line-up, but I think a different color scheme would get me more excited about this one. That's it! |
