Hi peeps,

I'm wondering what the current boxes (packaging) that brand new Breitling watches come in. I have seen the brown and black, which one is the newer? Is there a resource somewhere that has all this info? I tried searching but didn't find much.

Can't help on the current model box question but you should be able to get that information from any boutique or AD. As far as I know there is no box reference resource - at least not one that I have found in my many years of collecting.

Interesting.

I thought the latest was the brown outterbox with the camel colored leather travel case.

Last one I got about 15 months ago was the brown version.

As I say, bit of guesswork on my part :)

I'm sure I've seen 2016 watches in the black boxes, but these could be stock that's sat for a little while? Only seen the one brown box come in to my dept and it was missing both parts of the paperwork, customer had insisted on keeping them when pawned and never came back for it! Super Avenger II if memory serves.

Just purchased a B50 new from an AD and it was a black box with tan travel case.

I work for an authorized dealer. The new watches that are coming from Breitling, are coming in brown boxes with a brown travel case. That being said, AD's are still going to have black boxes. They have just started sending brown boxes pretty recently, last year or so.

My new Colt in Oct., 2015 I think came in a brown outer cardboard (could have been black), inner camel color (for sure) travel case (same as BigJon).

Are we confused yet?

Just bought an Avenger Hurricane from an AD and it came in the brown/tan box combination.
