I seen various posts on pros and cons. However in my opinion the orginial Titanium with Pro I bracelet is the best rendition of this fantastic tool watch. The titanium reduces weight and looks like what Titanium should look like. It's so easy to maintain and remove those swirls and scratches more easily than the SS. The original dial with the raised arabic numerals are well suited and belong on this big watch. The orginal Pro bracelet is unique and much better suited than the Pro II. I guess like everething else changes are made just for the sake of change. I bought mine in 04. The stunning blue dial ande white numerals are easy to read. Better yet it has the accuracy of an expensive quartz. Just my opinion for what it's worth..

I personally enjoy Ti for non blingy days. I wouldn't wear it to a dressy occasion though ;)

I tend to disagree with you on just about every aspect you mentioned, but the only thing that matters is what you like.

I expected this would generate some discussion. I agree, it's a bit much as a dress watch, but that's not what it is. I have my 18k evo for that. However both draw some attention. The Seawolf is my daily wearer though. Thanks for the feedback! What's your opinion on the Pro I bracelet v/s the ProII on the Swolf?

I've actually never seen a Ti Pro II in the flesh, but from pics I'd prefer the Pro II.

I've owned watches with both and personally I much prefer the Pro II. It has less lateral play, sits flatter on the wrist as all the links are the same height, and it also matches the rest of the range in terms of the "slash cut" design.

Obviously the Pro II lacks a diver's expansion section, but for me that's neither here nor there anyway.

Pro II all the way!

I havent seen the new version for real, but I like it more than the old TI version, never liked font they used for the numerals...

BTW, it was discussed somewhere that the new version had a larger case, what was the conclusion on that? Has it grown or not?

it`s certainly all about opinions. having tried the old AS on i have to say that for me it was just too light and i`m not a fan of the dial, i have on order the new version with yellow dial and diver pro strap and think it`s a fabulous watch. i tried one on with black dial in my local AD and it was the business.

Yes, according to the 09 Chronolog, the new version is 1mm larger in diameter at 45mm.

I agree, the Ti Avengers are great packages. Very easy to wear Avengers.

Just reviving this threadas I wrote this in another one:

-----
Also checked out the new Seawolf... that is one chubby watch, casewise it looks like a SA in smaller diameter but almost same height... chubby, fat, thick... you get the picture. And the contrasting brushed upper part and polished sides looks great. Like it more than the old one. Feels like a tank - indestructible and ready to use in rough terrain or waters!
-----

I have had it in my mind sice yesterday and I urge you to check it out if you are contemplating buying one and are hesitant which one to pick.

It is so nice and compact... as I said above, built like a tank. I say the new version dominates the old one!

just got back from tenerife where i collected my new AS. it is indeed very chunky and to say i`m delighted with it is an understarement. the yellow dial looks superb and suits the black diver pro strap very well. i`ll try and get some photos up tomorrow.
