Just bought a new Airborne 41 yesterday and I'm delighted with it.
I bought it with the military strap but I would also like to buy the pilot bracelet...is anyone selling one by any chance?

Good luck, regretfully sold mine last winter, buy might add it back in the 44mm case size. Found the 41 to be a bit small for my wrist. Can't go wrong with the pilot bracelet, but very expensive. You should always buy a bracelet and updgrade to a rubber or military strap to save some dollars from your AD. Good luck it's a phenomenal timepiece and can't beat the in house movement. |

fyi...this has been my experience with my Airborne 41 the past 3 months: the watch runs approx 3-5 seconds fast when worn (depending on activity). when I retire for the night, I check the time. if the watch is around 3 secs fast... * I position the watch vertical faced and crown at 3 o'clock. by morning the time retards to almost 0 * Interestingly, i have discovered that if I tilt the watch rearward about 30º (crown still 3 o'clock) it can speed up another second more by morning if the watch is around 3 secs slow... * I position the watch vertically and crown at 9 o'clock. by morning the time has sped up to almost 0 The oft posted suggestion of positioning the crown at 12 o'clock or 6 o'clock has not proven to be effective in my case |

It's this effect that tourbillons seek to eliminate by keeping the balance wheel and escapement moving through various axis, thus negating the effect of gravity. |

For me, to retard the time by position I had position the watch with the crystal perpendicular to the table, crown at 3 o'clock. I logged my observations a couple of times each day on an Excel sheet. I guess I was a little obsessive in wanting to understand my first auto watch.
