I own several Panerai, a Mueller and JLC reverso. I went in to my local shop to buy a new 8 days panerai and ended up walking out with a Bentley GMT instead.

It's the steel / rubber bracelet - I'm completely taken with it's unique look. Having never owned a Breitling, I'm curious about additional straps and figured I would post here. Would love to add a black croc / white stitch strap - my guy says he could find someone to custom one for me - but thought I would check in first. Do you all have any sources? I understand the strap design on this watch is unique and may not have enough consumers asking for one to warrant Breitling themselves to do it - but would love to find one. Any thoughts?

Enjoying the forum and thanks in advance for any help.

Congrats on joining the Breitling club, and welcome to the forums.

The Speed bracelet also fits the Bentley GMT, but in terms of sftermarket, because this is such a new watch with a unique (for Breitling) lug set up, I don't know of any aftermarket straps for it.

The preferred custom strap supplier is ABP - http://www.abp-paris.com/watchbands_cre ... id=7&cid=1

Click on the 'To order your watch band' button at the top to start choosing - you'll need about a week to decide

I agree that custom is going to be the only way to go for the GMT in the short term at least, due to the unique lug design.

Just as an aside, when I tried the GMT on the bracelet myself, the thing that really struck me was the severity of the taper of the bracelet from the lugs to the clasp. Whereas all other Speed bracelets retain the wider outer links even near the clasp, the GMT Speed doesn't, so it ends up looking more like a Pilot at the clasp.

I think I mentioned that abut the GMT bracelet back in May when I first tried one - it really is noticeable.

I've made no secret of not being a fan of the watch, and it isn't really growing on me, but I am glad to see that it is getting a following - it's a definite expansion of the Bentley range which can't be a bad thing, and if it's bringing people to the brand then it's great.
