Purchased my first Breitling chronomat watch recently in London and pleased with the purchase. Just the one picture attached for now! Waiting for the diver pro strap to be delivered from breitling which was thrown in with the purchase. I'm not sure if it's the one with clasp or not but doubt I will be using it too much anyway. Any suggestions on the best tool to help me remove the current strap and replace win the rubber one? Cheers Dan |

Congrats! I've got a Bergeon 6767F that I use to remove the bracelet on my Chronomat 44 Airborne. |

cheers guys - I'll have a look into that tool online. Saw it mentioned in another post burn wasn't sure if it would work on mine however you have just confirmed it does. I have a little paranoia about getting it wet at the moment as I'm not sure how tight you should have the screws on the chronograph buttons. |

Screws add nothing to water resistance, they simply prevent accidental pushing. If you can't push them it's tight enough! |

Ok thanks for that good to know and puts mind at rest! I have been setting the clock a few times over the last few days to get t as accurate as possible (OCD) to UTC. When I rescrew the crown back in I am effectively winding it up a few more turns even though I have been wearing it all the time - will this damage the mechanism if I keep pulling crown out to re adjust and rewinding back in? |

You cannot overwind an automatic. It will be putting minimal wear in the threads but you'll get over your OCD for accuracy long before that does any damage ![]() |

Congrats on yr purchase:) Do be careful if you want to change the strap yourself. It's not as easy as it seems. You can scratch the inside easily during the process. |
