Post subject:  Differences between 2005 and now, Chronomat Evo

Hi ppl

I´m just about to get my hands on a Chronomat Evolution white dial and a pilote bracelet. I´m very excited.

The watch is bought in 2005 and is in very good shape, it has hardly been used. My question is: What is the differences between a crhonomat evo 2005 and a chronomat evo 2008/2009? Are there any differences and is there something special i need to think about?

My second question is: Is there a big difference between the white dial and the silver dial?

Thank you ppl for a very nice forum. I´ve learned alot just by reading your posts.

Regards
Najk.

Welcome to the forum. There are no differences between 2005 and the most recent Chronomat. Only the raised logo on the safety clasp from the last year. I think that there are only silver and MOP dials which appear white. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thank you for your answer.
I thought there was a difference between white and silver. But from your post it seemes there is MOP and silver. And the silver-one is the "normal" white, MOP is more "special" -like a pearl-shine.

You are welcome. Not absolutely sure in that, hope that somebody will confirm or correct.

Holy Crap!!!! I can correct Bnewbie!!!! Call a press conference NOW!!!! :o :o :o
There are 3 white-ish dials now (cannot speak to earlier). White, Silver and MOP. I had a bear of a time deciding which and went with the MOP. Could not be happier. :)

Why? You have a lobotomy coming up? It will take me decades to accumulate the info you spit out in a single post, often. 8)

Sorry Boney, there are no white dial after all. :D Checked in the Handbook, as well at an AD. There are silver and two MOPs, one with normal batons and the other with diamonds. You probably mixed these two. Nice try.

Not to be a turd, or question Bnewbie, but: 2008 chronolog page 52, model #167,listed in the pricelist as "White Dial." #164 on page 51 "mother-of- pearl dial." Page 50, #160 "silver dial." At your advice, O Grand "King-of-Ling", I have been studying my Chronologs, and am learning. :P Again, do notmean to sound know-it-all like, but I do want the information to be correct. Time to fire your AD. :P

Glad that you study your Chronologs. Don't have prices in my Chronolog, referred and checked only for GT Evo. No white GT Evo. #167 is Arabics and it really looks white. Didn't even think about it. You got me.
