I never see any posts talking about it or any people uploading pictures of it anywhere, not on reddit, instagram, or on this website. I was wondering why it seems like nobody owns one, either nobody likes them or its just new? I was just curious why they lack discussion.

Breitling Superocean Chrono.
It has superceeded other very popular models .
This one with its rubber bezel just does not seem to fly.
It's certainly a nice watch but given past options - neehhhh.

Agreed on the rubber bezel, a few other things added:
- the first Chrono Superocean (also 42 mm) had a day-date feature, many preferred this model because of this. This newer watch has date only where Breitling has several other offers within the ETA 7750 range: Avenger, SOHC, SA - just to name a few and not to forget the B01-driven watches.
- the new CSO has "only" 200 m WR which is more than enough for most but the previous model had 500 m WR as has the Chronomat 44 while the Chronomat 41 still has 300 m WR - and the Chronomats are not intended to be divers watches first and foremost. The new 42 mm CSO would be a high flyer with a ceramic bezel and a day-date feature.
The real offspring of the CSO I. is the Steelfish Chrono with 44 mm case, day-date and 500 m WR.
I used to have a CSO I. which I loved but sold because of the contrasting subdials and went for a BEB dial Steelfish Chrono and a BEB dial Chronomat 41 and I don't wish to own the new 42 mm CSO - I'd go for one with the mentioned ceramic bezel and day-date.
Best,
Robert

I like the new model, the matching color sub-dials are good for keeping contrast between hands and dial. The old 42mm version was quite chunky and a little heavy. I don't know if this new version wears any better but it is lighter in weight so that is a good thing for me. The rubber bezel is not a deal breaker, will have to see this one to see how it fares.
