I will be receiving my first Breitling in the next 30 days!! I held out for the most beautiful piece in my opinion that they make the Bentley 6.75!! Anyways, I know this has probably been talked about on here but I was wondering what is a nice watch tool kit to buy? I will need to be able to size the speed bracelet of the 6.75 myself and I would like all the other tools for the future! Also does Breitling sell any kind of tool kit? Any help of direction would be great!!! Please respond driver8, in2deep, all those guys with more knowledge on Breitling than is imaginable!

I know Breitling has a tool kits for dealers that sometimes pops up on sleezbay from time to time. I'm not sure if it is something you can order through your AD though?
Here's a list of some tools you might think about picking up separately:
*Bergeon 6767 spring bar tool, to remove bracelets
*Bergeon 6825 spring bar plier tool, to remove both spring bars at the same time from bracelet or leather strap.
*Bergeon 6111 spring bar tool, another tool that other like to use to remove certain strap.
*Bergeon screw drivers, to remove or add extra links on a bracelet.
* Cap Code or Sunshine polishing clothes, to polish you Stainless Steel watch and bracelet.
* Masking tape to help prevent scratches when removing the spring bars from the inside of the lugs.
* Just some different polishing clothes or a Slyvet cloth if I am spelling correctly.
* Last you will need a couple shots of a fine single malt whiskey during any self watch project to numb the nerves a little.

I'm sure there are much more details I am leaving out but the others can take it from here. I tried.

Bergeon 6767F for bracelet removal.

You need a small screwdriver to remove bracelet links. 1.4mm is about the right size. You can be cheap like me and buy one from home depot or something, but it wont fit perfectly and may damage some screws if youre not careful. Since youve got time to wait for mail, might as well order the Bergeon stuff.

Breitling made this a few years back, very hard to come by, but as nnikolaus said above, they pop up on the bay from time to time.

GZGym1, the guys have all given you some great information.

Personally my "tool kit" consists of 2 Bergeon spring bar tools (a standard sized one for straps and a fine one for bracelets - I never remember the ref. numbers off the top of my head!), a set of Bergeon screwdrivers (although only a couple of them have ever seen any use on bracelets as quite a few are pretty big), and a Bergeon loupe. The loupe certainly isn't vital and you won't need it for any "home-maintenance", but it's great for checking out the quality of Breitling dials! :thumbsup:

Sorry to bother you again driver8 but what size of screwdriver do I need to make sure to have, to size the bentley 6.75 bracelet? Also which springer tool would be best to remove the bracelet on the 6.75? I saw some talk on here thaet one springer tool has pointier ends on it and another has more broad tips which would work better also...both sides moving of springer tool or just one which is better? Thanks so much for your time

As RJRJRJ said a Bergeon 6767F is ideal for bracelet removal and a screwdriver around the 1.4mm mark is ideal and probably the absolute minimum if you want to start removing/sizing your own bracelets.
