Hi All,

I simply adore the new Avenger Skyland design, but have an extremely small wrist (16 cm, which is 6.3") and palm too. Tried at an AD, and from lug-to-lug the watch is as wide as my wrist at the slightly wider part over the bone, just above my palm. Actually I liked it, but the salesman said, it's too big for me (obviously not interested in selling:-).

What' your opinion? Any experience with Avengers on similar sized wrists?

Thanks in advance.

Gyula

Hi Gyula, my personal feelings about watch sizes are that if the lugs protrude further than the width of your wrist then it is too big. In other words, I think a watch is too big if the bracelet or strap goes straight down each side of your wrist (i.e. doesn't curve round your wrist at all) when you are wearing it. Personally I like the lugs to be slightly less than the width of my wrist.

Having said that, watch size is a purely personal thing and the trend nowadays is for larger watches anyway - just take a look at the Super Avenger and the larger Bentley models. At the end of the day, if you feel comfortable with it, then go for it!

See for me, I like it when a watch strap/bracelet is going straight down each site of my wrist. I have a smaller wrist as well... not as small as yours. Mine is 6.75 and I find the Super Avenger too big, but I still plan to get one eventually. My Bentley gets me compliments on how big yet nice it is quite often.

The skyland avenger isn't even that big. I'm surprised the AD said that its too big.

If you don't think it's too big, then buy it! Its all about personal taste and style :)

Hey Gyula,

My wrist is slightly larger than yours at around 6.5" on a good day, and I wear my SuperAvenger with a medium plain white hanes beefy-T shirt and jeans daily. At first it seems big, but after a few minutes it fits like a glove. Buy it, and enjoy looking at it daily!
