Hey guys,

It's been a while since I have posted, but I am super pumped to mention I just picked up a new Breitling Chronomat 44. The dial is blue with silver subdials and I love it!
It came with the new electronic warranty card so I assume it's a newer production piece, unless those were reissued by Breitling to replace the old paper style. This brings me onto my question of the day:

My watch has a date code of "2109B4" This signifies it is a 2009 build. Is this possible? I didn't think the chronomat 44 was released until 2011.

As a new watch, wouldn't this piece need a service if it really is from 2009? Please help as this is stressing me out!

Date code is when the case was produced, not the watch so not a problem.

OK great. So they make the cases that far in retrospect?

Chronomat 44 was released in mid-2009. I have one of the first off the production line purchased in July 2009.

Yes I think your correct 2009, I think my special edition Flying Fish was released in 2013 if memory serves me correct, which often It doesn't! :)
