Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that Breitling has, for quite awhile, certified most if not all of its watches as chronometers. To my knowledge (and my knowledge is quite limited but growing daily) only a few Omegas have been so certified. That is, until the co-axial movements were introduced. So is Breitling ahead of Omega in this regard?

Thanks in advance.

Here are some posts re: COSC certification statistics and analysis. Rolex and OMEGA submit more watch movements for certification, but only Breitling submits 100% of it's production to COSC.

Not sure it's possible to say one is ahead of the other in any respect since everything is subjective. I have several of both brands and they all keep good time: if I wanted the most accurate watch, I would be buying quartz, and they both have highly-accurate models with that engine. As an aside, the most accurate over a few days was an Omega PO 2500 I've since sold, and was more consistent than the two Rolexes I have :!:
