It's not so much Breitling as general guidance of how static water pressure translates to real world situations, and in that regard yes - 30m static water pressure can occur at or close to the surface of a pool.

Chris,
I have the Yellow, Black and Blue versions all with UTC on titanium bands. I absolutely love them all and would kill for the Coral with matching UTC (hint/hint).

They're an eye opener - super light - highly functional and yes, I wouldn't rely on the alarm being loud enough to wake anyone but it will let you know what's going on if you have your hands at the keyboard (up close).

An old watchmaker of mine many decades ago always said "if you want your watch to last don't tempt fate. Don't get it serviced unless you need to and don't go swimming with it unless you can afford to lose it".

Follow those golden rules and you'll be fine.

PS - I've never had any trouble with the watches at all - highly reliable.
