In the middle of April purchased brend new chronomat 44, the watch is stopped in 10 hours on the weekend, if you start chronograph it stopped completely.
I guess this is the case for replacement, but everybody including customer relations swiss offering me to proceed to the service centre, the watch is one month old.... I am completely disappointed..the watch purchased in helsinki landroose.
Any ideas how to proceed, thanks ....

I assume you're giving it a full wind so the power reserve is full ?

Why not give them a chance. My Chronomat 41 stopped due to date change problem after a few months. It returned from the authorized service and I've enjoyed the watch in the last more than one year. No problem at all with the watch, loses 0.8 seconds a day regardless worn or on winding machine. Very stabile rates.

If you start the chronograph the watch stops completely?

I though the B01 has a separate module for the chronograph!

B01 is not a modular chronograph movement but that's irrelevant anyway, there's only one mainspring.

Assuming the watch has a reserve there is likely something causing excess friction in the chronograph running train. CErtainly not grounds for replacement, that's what the warranty is for - repairing things while the watch is still covered.

I understand the warranty, but 10000 dollars watch should not go from the shop to service, this is unacceptable...

You bought the watch knowing it had a warranty to repair problems. Should problems happen, no, do they, of course. It's a watch made by humans and problems can happen, hence the warranty that comes with the watch.

That's like saying I bought a BMW Car a few weeks ago and now it's developed a fault, as Roff said, mechanical things made of many moving parts can develop faults, regardless off the quality or price!

I doubt that you will keep the car if the engine is not working in the shop, you paid the money.

Besides, we are not speaking about even a couple of weeks, the watch stopped on the third day after purchase.

So bought it mid April and it broke in April and now it is June and you are asking here how to proceed?
You were given an answer that you obviously not happy with.
No need to ask if you know better.
