Post subject:  New Superocean Heritage Chronoworks

I realize that there is a thread with other Basel news but I thought that this watch deserved it's own thread! Although I have never been a big fan of the SuperOcean Heritage, I like the look of this one. The modifications that they made to the B01 are interesting, it's good to see Breitling making improvements to what is there bread and butter movement :D . I absolutely love the fact that Breitling now has a ceramic case available :lingsrock: ......but the price! $39,000 kinda puts it out of my price range :(

Uhhh, just seen. "Was gut und teuer ist drinnen..."
Summary: I like a lot the SOHC series, waiting for a "normal size" - I mean 40-41 mm - version too.
This one comes in a 46 mm case again, with full extra equipment.
The silicone-etc. escapement is a tad similar to the Omega 9300 escapement etc. that comes in the 5-8k Euros price range. Add a ceramic case that is cca. in the 2k Euros extra price range. Till this stage we arrive at cca. 10-11k Euros. I would not count extra for the diminishing of the parts friction as originally the watch could come with a 100 hours PR.
Taking all these into consideration the Chronoworks is very much in the same price range with its cca. 40k Euros as the Patek Philippe Nautilus Chronograph... Huge discounts are to be expected on this, I'm afraid...
Never. Even though I like the movement and somehow the looks too.
On the technical side huge congrats to Breitling, on the economic side I seem to have a further year to spend my money elsewhere.... :(
Just my two cents of course.
